WHO WE ARE
The Maine Community Power Cooperative is a consumer-owned cooperative that develops, owns and operates small-scale community solar projects. We exist to reduce the energy burden of our members, particularly low- to moderate-income households.
What We Do
We partner with landowners and community members to develop projects with a footprint of less than one acre, each powering 50 to 80 local households.
Members receive a 20% discount on their electricity rate.
Our cooperative approach means economic benefits remain in the communities we serve, today and for decades to come.
